perception: a way of regarding, understanding, or interpreting something; a mental impression
I don’t think there is any truth. There are only points of view.
– Allen Ginsberg
Christians, Agnostics, Atheists, Buddhists, I love them all. How humans can come up with so many interpretations of life will always amaze me.
The sun can be a harbinger of good news, a light of truth, a father to the earth. The moon is a goddess who whispers secrets in your ear each night and the stars divine, and can even change, your fate.
There can be gods and goddesses in the sky, earth, and elements that can be appealed to for aid, for curses, for blessings.
Serpents can mean blessings of rain or punishments of drought.
Trees can be so holy and powerful they are the only thing holding the world and heavens together.
Science can show us the very makeup of the world and every part of it, and every part that makes up those parts!
Life is a complicated mechanism of chaos and order, fulfillment and lacking. To make sense of it all is a dizzying affair that I believe no one can accomplish. However, with so many belief systems out there to choose from, and the fact that we are constantly making our own belief paradigms to work within, I think exploring the understanding of Life can be truly enjoyable.
